| dc.description.abstract | El siguiente estudio tuvo como objetivo realizar un análisis estadístico sobre la morbilidad materna extrema en la comuna IV de Valledupar, para este estudio se utilizaron datos proporcionados por la secretaria de salud departamental de los cuales se seleccionaron los eventos ocurridos en la comuna IV para morbilidad materna extrema. En este estudio se tomaron las siguientes variables: los barrios donde residían las madres, edad, nivel de escolaridad, nivel de aseguramiento, causas asociadas a morbilidad materna extrema, numero de gestaciones, número de controles prenatales e indicador para morbilidad materna. Mediante este análisis se determinó que entre los años 2015 al 2017 en la comuna IV de Valledupar se evidenciaron 141 casos reportados para morbilidad materna extrema (MME) en donde la mayoría de los casos se encontraban en los estratos 2 y 3, en un grupo etario entre los 25 años o más, donde las madres cursaron hasta básica secundaria, con un nivel de aseguramiento contributivo, el factor de riesgo con más prevalencia fue la pre eclampsia, la mayoría de las madres presentaron el evento en su primera y segunda gestación, también se encontró que las madres que se hicieron 1 solo control prenatal tiene mayor riesgo de sufrir el evento y por último se evidencio que el indicador más prevalente fue morbilidad materna “GRAVE” en el grupo etaria entre 25 años o más. Abstract The following study aims to carry out a statistical analysis on the extreme maternal morbidity in the commune IV of Valledupar, for this study were used data provided by the Secretary of Health departmental of which were selected the Events occurring in commune IV for extreme maternal morbidity.
