Abstract
La presente monografía tiene como propósito identificar los estilos de aprendizaje predominantes en estudiantes de secundaria y media en Colombia. Mediante una revisión documental, se abordan las principales teorías de estilos de aprendizaje, entre ellas la de Kolb, Honey y Mumford, así como el modelo de Felder y Silverman. El estudio resalta la importancia de reconocer los estilos de aprendizaje en el ámbito educativo para fortalecer las estrategias pedagógicas, mejorar el rendimiento académico y atender a la diversidad estudiantil. Los hallazgos permiten comprender que no existe un único estilo predominante, sino que se presentan variaciones según el contexto y las características individuales de los estudiantes.
Abstract
This monograph aims to identify the predominant learning styles in high school and secondary students in Colombia. Through a documentary review, it addresses the main learning style theories, including those of Kolb, Honey and Mumford, as well as the Felder and Silverman model. The study highlights the importance of recognizing learning styles in the educational field to strengthen pedagogical strategies, improve academic performance, and address student diversity. The findings show that there is no single predominant style, but rather variations depending on the context and individual characteristics of the students.
