| dc.description.abstract | El artículo analiza la aplicación de la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) en los centros veterinarios de Aguachica, Cesar, considerando los tipos de responsabilidad, los principios que orientan su práctica y las estrategias de gestión implementadas, destacando la importancia de estos centros en el bienestar animal, la salud pública y el entorno social, así como la necesidad de fortalecer prácticas responsables a nivel local. La investigación empleó un enfoque mixto exploratorio-descriptivo, mediante el cual se aplicó un censo a los trece centros veterinarios legalmente constituidos del municipio, y la información se recopiló mediante un cuestionario estructurado diseñado para medir la aplicación de los tipos de RSE, los principios que la guían y el enfoque estratégico en la gestión. Los resultados muestran una aplicación desigual: el tipo económico alcanzó 4.31, el social 3.80 y el ambiental 1.62. Entre los principios, la ética obtuvo 4.89 y la sostenibilidad presentó mayor variabilidad. En el enfoque estratégico, las consideraciones legales registraron 4.92 y la identificación de aspectos significativos 4.00. Se concluye que los centros concentran esfuerzos en lo económico, ético y legal, mientras que las dimensiones ambiental y estratégica muestran debilidades, limitando acciones voluntarias y de mayor impacto social y ambiental. Abstract This article analyzes the application of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in veterinary clinics in Aguachica, Cesar, considering the types of responsibility, the principles guiding their practice, and the management strategies implemented. It highlights the importance of these clinics for animal welfare, public health, and the social environment, as well as the need to strengthen responsible practices at the local level. The research employed a mixed-methods exploratorydescriptive approach, in which a census was conducted at the thirteen legally established veterinary clinics in the municipality. Information was collected using a structured questionnaire designed to measure the application of the different types of CSR, the guiding principles, and the strategic approach to management. The results show uneven application: the economic type reached 4.31, the social type 3.80, and the environmental type 1.62. Among the principles, ethics scored 4.89, while sustainability showed the greatest variability. In the strategic approach, legal considerations scored 4.92 and the identification of significant aspects 4.00. It is concluded that the centers concentrate efforts on the economic, ethical and legal aspects, while the environmental and strategic dimensions show weaknesses, limiting voluntary actions and those with greater social and environmental impact. | |
