| dc.description.abstract | Debido a que el presente trabajo de investigación busca determinar el nivel de estrés percibido de las madres solteras cabeza de hogar del barrio Divino Niño de Valledupar, se estableció como recurso metodológico la aplicación de un enfoque cuantitativo, el cual contribuye a la obtención de resultados precisos y verificables. En ese sentido, se justifica el desarrollo de este estudio bajo los paramentos de un diseño de tipo no experimental, con corte transversal y de tipo descriptivo; además, se utilizó como técnica de recolección de datos una ficha de caracterización sociodemográfica y la Escala de Estrés Percibido (EEP) las cuales fueron aplicadas en 47 de las 60 madres solteras, cabeza de hogar que conforman la población total, lo cual arrojo como resultado que las condiciones laborales, económicas, familiares y sociales en muchas de las familias son desfavorables, lo cual determina un alto índice de estrés percibido, siendo este el principal detonante para el desarrollo de múltiples enfermedades físicas y/o mentales. Abstract Due to the fact that this research work seeks to determine the level of perceived stress of single mothers who are heads of households in the Divino Niño neighborhood of Valledupar, the application of a quantitative approach is established as a methodological resource, which contributes to obtaining accurate results. and verifiable. In this sense, the development of this study is justified under the parameters of a non-experimental design, with a cross-sectional and descriptive type; In addition, a sociodemographic characterization sheet and the Perceived Stress Scale (EEP) were shown as a data collection technique, which were applied to 47 of the 60 single mothers, heads of households that make up the total population, which resulted in that the working, economic, family and social conditions in many of the families are unfavorable, which determines a high rate of perceived stress, this being the main trigger for the development of multiple physical and/or mental illnesses.
