dc.description.abstractLa depresión, en los últimos años se ha convertido no solamente en un problema de salud mental, sino también en fenómeno de tipo social que afecta la salud pública de los individuos dentro del conglomerado social, que es originado por diversos factores predisponentes, siendo los contextos familiares, psicosociales y sociales, elementos causales. Desde estas acciones se planteó como objetivo general determinar los factores predisponentes de depresión en los estudiantes de 4 y 5 semestre del programa de enfermería de la Universidad Popular Del Cesar (UPC), año 2021- 2. A través de un método de corte cuantitativo, descriptivo transversal y muestra de 60 participantes de tipo estratificada. Por lo anterior, se halló que el 65.05% de los factores predisponentes que dan origen a la depresión tienen relaciones directas en factores sociales donde se destacan eventos estresantes, cargas académicas y deserción escolar, inscritamente relacionados con el semestre académico que cursan por la complejidad de las cátedras. También se halló que a nivel psicológico se encontró que existe un agotamiento mental que se relacionan con problemas familiares, económicos y académicos. Por lo anterior, se puede concluir que al determinar los factores que ocasionan depresión a los estudiantes, obtiene un cumplimiento regular encontrándose en el rango de 60% en los ítems de hallazgos, los cuales tienen relaciones homogéneas de forma directa con factores sociales que afectan a nivel psicológico y familiares. Abstract Depression, in recent years has become not only a mental health problem, but also a social phenomenon that affects the public health of individuals within the social conglomerate, which is caused by various predisposing factors, being the contexts family, psychosocial and social, causal elements. From these actions, the present investigation proposed as a general objective to determine the predisposing factors of depression in the students of the 4th and 5th semester of the nursing program of the Universidad Popular Del Cesar, year 2021-2. Through a quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional methodology and a sample of 60 stratified participants. Due to the above, it was found that 65.05% of the predisposing factors that give rise to depression have direct relationships in social factors where stressful events, academic loads and school dropout stand out, inscribed related to the academic semester they are studying due to the complexity of the chairs. It was also found that at a psychological level it was found that there is mental exhaustion that is related to family, economic and academic problems. Due to the above, it can be concluded that when determining the factors that cause depression in the fourth and fifth semester students of the nursing program, regular compliance is obtained, being in the range of 60% in the items of findings, which have homogeneous relationships of directly with social factors that affect psychological and family level.
