Resumen
El manejo de los roedores, plagas y residuos sólidos son problemas constantes en la industria alimenticia debido a las enfermedades que pueden provocar en el ser humano y la mala imagen que pueden generar de la empresa, por tanto, se planteó un estudio que tuvo como objetivo diseñar un programa para el manejo integrado de plagas, roedores y residuos en la industria de Delicias Rosmi, Valledupar, Cesar. La metodología del estudio fue descriptiva y de campo, el desarrollo metodológico constó de tres etapas, el diagnóstico de la empresa, la formulación de los procedimientos operativos para plagas, roedores y residuos y, por último, determinar la eficacia de métodos para el control de plagas y roedores. Dentro de los principales resultados se encontraron que la empresa no cumple con cinco aspectos exigidos por la resolución 2674 del 2013 dentro de los que se destaca la falta de protección de las ventanas, no hay almacenamiento de residuo temporal, no hay dispositivos para el control de plagas y roedores, en cuanto a los residuos se generan 41.66 kg de residuos mensuales, su mayoría son orgánicos; teniendo esto como base se diseñaron los procedimientos operativos con sus objetivos, acciones, metas e indicadores para el manejo integrado de plagas, roedores y residuos sólidos. Se evaluaron tres métodos con el fin de conocer la eficacia de estos frente a la captura de roedores y plagas los cuales fueron jaula, trampa y cartilla pegante, este último fue el más eficiente dado que logró la captación del mayor número de roedores y plagas.
Abstract
The management of rodents, pests and solid waste are constant problems in the food industry due to the diseases that they can cause in humans and the bad image that they can generate of the company, therefore, a study was proposed that aimed to design a program for the integrated management of pests, rodents and residues in the industry of Delicias Rosmi, Valledupar, Cesar. The study methodology was descriptive and field, the methodological development consisted of three stages, the diagnosis of the company, the formulation of the operational procedures for pests, rodents and residues and, finally, determining the effectiveness of methods for the control of pests and rodents. Among the main results, it was found that the company does not comply with five aspects required by resolution 2674 of 2013, among which the lack of protection of the windows stands out, there is no storage of temporary waste, there are no devices for the control of Pests and rodents, in terms of waste, 41.66 kg of monthly waste are generated, most of it is organic; Taking this as a basis, they designed the operating procedures with their objectives, actions, goals and indicators for the integrated management of pests, rodents and solid waste. Three methods were evaluated in order to know the effectiveness of these against the capture of rodents and pests which were cage, trap and glue primer, the latter was the most efficient since it achieved the capture of the largest number of rodents and pests.
