dc.description.abstractRESUMEN El objetivo general del presente estudio fue analizar el efecto de los negocios multiculturales en la economía del Resguardo Kankuamo del Departamento del Cesar. La investigación está fundamentada en autores como Giraldo & Otero (2017), Castro (2011), Páramo (2015), Zúñiga & Suárez (2016), Hernández (2014), Méndez (1995), entre otros. Con relación a la metodología del estudio tuvo un enfoque epistemológico positivista, con un tipo de investigación descriptiva, enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño de campo, no experimental y transeccional. La técnica de recolección de datos fue la observación mediante encuesta, aplicando un cuestionario a 110 artesanos kankuamos que se conformó con treinta (30) ítems, con cinco alternativas de respuesta, la primera codificadas como: Siempre (S), Casi Siempre (CS), A Veces (AV), Casi Nunca (CN), Nunca (N). La validez del instrumento fue avalada por tres expertos, mientras que la confiabilidad se estableció mediante una prueba piloto aplicada a 10 artesanos con características similares a la población objetivo. El coeficiente Alpha de Cronbach arrojó un valor de 0,84, lo que indica un alto nivel de confiabilidad. En conclusión, los resultados evidencian que la información obtenida es altamente confiable y destacan la relevancia de fortalecer los negocios multiculturales como estrategia para mejorar las condiciones económicas del Resguardo Kankuamo, en el Departamento del Cesar. ABSTRACT The general objective of this study was to analyze the effect of multicultural businesses on the economy of the Kankuamo Reservation of the Department of Cesar based on the authors Giraldo & Otero (2017), Castro (2011), Páramo (2015), Zúñiga & Suárez (2016), Hernández (2014), Méndez (1995), among others. In relation to the methodology of the study, it had a positivist epistemological approach, with a descriptive type of research with a quantitative approach and a field design, non-experimental and cross-sectional. The data collection technique was observation through a survey, applying a questionnaire to 110 Kankuamos artisans that consisted of thirty (30) items, with two response alternatives, the first coded as: Always (S), Almost Always (CS), Sometimes (AV), Almost Never (CN), Never (N), on the other hand, the second alternative were open questions to corroborate who are the main products of the various cultural accessories, what is their star product and how the Association of Indigenous Kankuamos Artisans (ASOARKA) have managed and monitored this type of business. The validity was in charge of three (3) experts. The reliability was determined through the application of the pilot test to 10 artisans with characteristics similar to the population under study, through the Alpha Crombach coefficient a result of 0.84 was obtained. We concluded that the information obtained through the survey has a fairly high level of reliability and it is a topic that must be validated in order to lead to economics improvement in these multicultural businesses in the department of Cesar.
