dc.description.abstractAdolescents focus on trends in social networks, creating beauty stereotypes that could cause them physical and emotional problems, to know the behavior of this phenomenon, a quantitative study was carried out, with the aim of determining the influence of Facebook and Instagram. as a TICS tool in the beauty stereotypes perceived by tenth and eleventh grade students of an educational institution, for this, 80 students were surveyed digitally, where the results show that the majority are not negatively influenced by these social networks in terms of their body image, however, eating disorders, low selfesteem and bullying are aspects that were slightly affected in a small part of the population, this led us to the conclusion of developing an educational project for community health where these were strengthened aspects through educational sessions.
