dc.description.abstractLos derechos sexuales y reproductivos comprenden un conjunto de derechos humanos inherentes a los individuos, donde cada uno tienen el derecho de tomar la decisión libremente de su cuerpo y vida. Es por esto que, el objetivo principal de la investigación fue identificar el comportamiento de las mujeres en edad fértil y gestantes sobre sus derechos sexuales y reproductivos promoviendo desde enfermería acciones que busquen la prevención de la violencia obstétrica en la comuna 4 de la ciudad de Valledupar 2023-II. El desarrollo metodológico fue a través del paradigma cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo con corte transversal, la muestra fue aleatoria simple de 104 féminas participantes. Dentro de los principales resultados se halló que las características sociodemográficas se direccionan a un grupo etario de 14-19 años en un 42%, con nivel educativo del 49% en secundaria y ocupación en un 53% estudiantes, las cuales el 19% han tenido partos y un 17% cesarías; donde el nivel de conocimiento sobre los DSYDR fue adecuado con un 86%, destacándose el derecho a tener relaciones consensuadas en un 43% y el derecho a decidir libremente si desea o no tener hijos con un 24%, resaltándose la información que brinda el personal de enfermería en temas sexuales, reproductivos y gestacionales; también se obtuvo que el 97% de la población no tiene conocimientos sobre la violencia obstétrica, llegando a concluir que el 83.5% de las mujeres de la comuna cuatro tienen algún conocimiento sobre los DSYDR, influyendo su capacidad de decisión frente cualquier vulneración de estos. Abstract Sexual and reproductive rights comprise a set of human rights inherent to individuals, where each has the right to freely decide on his or her body and life. That is why, the main objective of the research was to identify the behavior of women of childbearing age and pregnant women regarding their sexual and reproductive rights, promoting from nursing actions that seek the prevention of obstetric violence in commune 4 of the city of Valledupar 2023-II. The methodological development was through the quantitative paradigm of descriptive type with cross-sectional, the sample was simple random of 104 female participants. Among the main results, it was found that the sociodemographic characteristics were directed to an age group of 14 to 19 years old by 42%, with an educational level of 49% in secondary education and 53% in employment, of which 19 % had given birth and 17 % had cesareans; where the level of knowledge about sexual and reproductive rights was adequate with 86%, with the right to have consensual relationships standing out at 43% and the right to decide freely whether or not to have children with 24%, highlighting the information provided by nurses on sexual, reproductive and gestational issues; it was also found that 97% of the population has no knowledge about obstetric violence, reaching the conclusion that 83.5% of women in commune four have some knowledge on sexual and reproductive rights, influencing their ability to decide against any violation of these.
