| dc.description.abstract | El síndrome burnout es una respuesta al estrés laboral que se caracteriza por las actitudes y sentimientos negativos que se generan hacia las demás personas en el entorno laboral y hacia el propio rol profesional teniendo presente la percepción de encontrarse emocionalmente agotado. El presente estudio de investigación pretende identificar la prevalencia del Síndrome Burnout en los empleados de la cámara de comercio de la ciudad de Valledupar. Para el logro de los objetivos se plantea un estudio cuantitativo descriptivo con diseño no experimental de corte transversal. Se aplicó el instrumento de Malasch Burnout Inventory a una muestra de 50 funcionarios con funciones relacionadas con el servicio al cliente. El instrumento está constituido por 22 ítems en forma de afirmaciones, sobre los sentimientos y actitudes del profesional en su trabajo y su función es medir el desgaste profesional. Los resultados indican que existe presencia del Síndrome de burnout, con riesgo de incremento de los niveles de agotamiento, repercusiones psicológicas tanto en el ámbito social y organizacional. Abstract Burnout syndrome is a response to work stress that is characterized by negative attitudes and feelings that are generated towards other people in the work environment and towards one's professional role, bearing in mind the perception of being emotionally exhausted. This research study aims to identify the prevalence of Burnout Syndrome in employees of the Chamber of Commerce of the city of Valledupar. To achieve the objectives, a descriptive quantitative study with a non-experimental cross-sectional design is proposed. The Malasch Burnout Inventory instrument was applied to a sample of 50 employees with functions related to customer service. The instrument is made up of 22 items in the form of statements, about the feelings and attitudes of the professional in their work and its function is to measure professional burnout. The results indicate that there is a presence of the Burnout Syndrome, with a risk of increased levels of exhaustion, psychological repercussions both in the social and organizational sphere.
