dc.description.abstractEl estudio se enfocó en el objetivo general analizar las complicaciones postoperatorias de miembros inferiores en pacientes diabéticos atendidos en una Institución Prestadora de Servicio de Salud (IPS) con atención de tercer nivel en la ciudad de Valledupar 2021, a través de los objetivos específico, caracterización socio demográfica, factores de riesgo y complicaciones de miembros inferiores en pacientes diabéticos intervenidos quirúrgicamente en una Institución Prestadora de Servicio de Salud (IPS) en la ciudad de Valledupar 2021. La metodología se enmarco en un estudio retrospectivo, descriptivo, cuantitativo, procesados por medio de la estadística descriptiva. Se logra concluir que las complicaciones más frecuentes posteriores al proceso quirúrgico de miembro inferiores fueron las ulceras e infecciones, cabe indicar, además, que los factores predominantes principales para el desarrollo de estas complicaciones en el objeto de estudio atienden a los factores ambientales, la edad y la alimentación (en el consumo de alimentos grasos poliinsaturados, saturados y carbohidratos). Se resalta también, la predisposición en hombres a padecer de diabetes, con los datos arrojados por el estudio, se denota que hay una mayor presencia de casos de diabetes tipo 2 en el total de los pacientes que se les aplico el instrumento. En causas atribuidas se puede constatar que el padecimiento de diabetes es relacionado a factores genéticos y poligénicos. ASBTRACT The study focused on the general objective of analyzing postoperative complications of the lower limbs in diabetic patients treated in a Health Service Provider Institution (IPS) with third level care in the city of Valledupar 2021, through the objectives spaces, sociodemographic characterization, risk factors and complications of the lower limbs in diabetic patients who underwent surgery in a Health Service Provider Institution (IPS) in the city of Valledupar 2021. The methodology was framed in a retrospective, descriptive, quantitative study, processed by mean of descriptive statistics. It is possible to conclude that the most frequent complications after the lower limb surgical process were ulcers and infections, it should also be noted that the main predominant factors for the development of these complications in the object of study attend to environmental factors, the age and diet (in the consumption of polyunsaturated and saturated fatty foods and carbohydrates). The predisposition in men to suffer from diabetes is also highlighted, and with the data obtained by the study, it is denoted that there is a greater presence of cases of type 2 diabetes in the total number of patients who were applied the instrument. In attributed causes, it can be verified that the suffering of diabetes is related to genetic and polygenic factors.
