dc.description.abstractEste estudio se centró en la identificación y clasificación de conflictos socioculturales y ambientales en el municipio de Pueblo Bello, Colombia, utilizando los métodos de Curle, Lederech y FCD. La investigación se llevó a cabo a través de una encuesta que incluyó preguntas relacionadas con el género, la edad, la educación, la ocupación, el ingreso y la percepción del conflicto en la comunidad. Los resultados mostraron que el municipio ha experimentado conflictos violentos, latentes y manifiestos relacionados con cuestiones como la propiedad de la tierra, el acceso a los recursos naturales y los desafíos económicos y sociales. Los conflictos manifiestos obtuvieron una puntuación más alta que los conflictos latentes y violentos. Los resultados también identificaron los principios de economía ancestral como relacionados con los conflictos en el municipio. Se propusieron varias estrategias para la gestión de los conflictos, incluyendo la restauración de ecosistemas y la promoción de prácticas agroforestales sostenibles, entre otras. Las recomendaciones se basaron en criterios como la relevancia, el impacto, la ética y la innovación. En conclusión, este estudio proporciona una base sólida para abordar y gestionar los conflictos socioculturales y ambientales en el municipio de Pueblo Bello, y puede servir como un modelo para otras comunidades que enfrentan problemas similares. ABSTRACT This research project aimed to identify the socio-environmental conflicts in the municipality of Pueblo Bello, Colombia, and propose strategies for their management. Through the application of the Curle, Lederach and FCD methods, three types of conflicts were identified: violent, latent, and manifest. The most relevant conflicts were related to issues such as the construction of a dam and wastewater treatment projects, access to natural resources, and economic and social challenges facing the population. The study also developed a set of indicators based on ancestral economy principles and added other factors such as cultural heritage, justice and equity, and reduction of ecological footprint. The proposed strategies for the management of the socio-environmental conflicts included restoration of ecosystems, promotion of sustainable agroforestry practices, protection and restoration of ecosystems affected by human activity, and strengthening of basic infrastructure in rural areas. The study concludes that the proposed strategies are viable and relevant, and could potentially have a positive impact on the quality of life of the local population, the protection of the environment, and the development of a sustainable economy. It is recommended that the strategies are implemented through a participatory approach involving local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders, and that ethical and legal considerations are taken into account.
