Abstract
El servicio de aseo y recolección es fundamental para mejorar las condiciones higiénicas, de aseo, orden y limpieza, por lo cual, tener un modelo de prestación municipal idóneo permite tener muchas garantías para la reducción mínima de los impactos ambientales que se originan en el manejo y la gestión de los residuos sólidos. Una manera de medir el bienestar es la valoración económica mediante la metodología contingente. En esta investigación se empleó esta metodología para evaluar el valor de bienestar del mejoramiento de las condiciones de prestación del servicio de aseo y recolección para el manejo y gestión de los residuos sólidos obteniendo un valor per cápita de COP$ 393,1608 y un valor anual restringido de COP$ 51.427.934,09 que parece viable para la implementación de compromisos y lineamientos ambientales persiguiendo el mismo objetivo y en el marco de la Política Nacional de la Gestión Integral de los Residuos Sólidos.
ABSTRACT
The cleaning and collection service is essential to improve hygienic, cleanliness and order, therefore, having an adequate municipal provision model allows for many guarantees for the reduction minimum of environmental impacts that originate in the management and solid waste management. One way to measure well-being is economic valuation using the contingent methodology. In this research, this methodology was used to evaluate the welfare value of improving the conditions for providing the cleaning and collection service for the handling and management of solid waste, obtaining a per capita value of COP$ 393.1608 and a restricted annual value of COP$ 51,427,934.09 that seems viable for the implementation of environmental commitments and guidelines pursuing the same objective and within the framework of the National Policy for the Integral Management of Solid Waste.
