dc.description.abstractLos Sistemas de Gestión facilitan la operación y mejoran la efectividad de los procesos organizacionales, es por ello por lo que se diseña el Sistema de Gestión Ambiental del Hotel Waya Guajira, con el objeto de promover la prevención de la contaminación en la lucha contra el cambio climático. Para su diseño se determinó el nivel de cumplimiento con base a la NTC ISO 14001:2015, continuamente se identificaron y evaluaron los aspectos e impactos ambientales de la organización y por último se diseñó la documentación del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental. La aplicación de los conceptos, teorías y métodos empleados permitió lograr un nivel de cumplimiento de 65%, aumentando la aplicabilidad de los requisitos en un 39%. También se obtuvieron treinta y cuatro (34) hallazgos ambientales, los cuales obedecen a tipos de mejoras para la organización, lo que podría llevar a la organización a un cumplimiento superior al ochenta por ciento. ABSTRACT The Management Systems facilitate the operation and improve the effectiveness of the organizational processes, which is why the Environmental Management System of the Hotel Waya Guajira is designed, to promote the prevention of pollution in the fight against climate change. For its design, the level of compliance was determined based on the NTC ISO 14001: 2015, the environmental aspects and impacts of the organization were continuously identified and evaluated and finally the documentation of the Environmental Management System was designed. The application of the concepts, theories and methods used allowed to achieve a level of compliance of 65%, increasing the applicability of the requirements by 39%. Thirty-four (34) environmental findings were also obtained, which are due to types of improvements for the organization, which could lead the organization to a compliance greater than eighty percent.
