Abstract
La creciente preocupación por el impacto ambiental de las actividades humanas ha llevado a las organizaciones a adoptar prácticas más sostenibles y responsables. En este contexto, la norma ISO 14001:2015 se presenta como un marco fundamental para la implementación de sistemas de gestión ambiental efectivos. Por medio de la investigación se diseñó un sistema de gestión ambiental basado en la norma ISO 14001:2015 para la empresa Centro diagnóstico de la mujer en la ciudad de Valledupar, cuyo objetivo es analizar y desarrollar un sistema de gestión ambiental basado en dicha norma, explorando sus principios, beneficios y la importancia de su aplicación en el ámbito empresarial. A través de un enfoque práctico, se examinaron las herramientas y metodologías necesarias para integrar la gestión ambiental en la cultura organizacional, contribuyendo así a la sostenibilidad y al cumplimiento normativo. Este estudio no solo buscó resaltar la relevancia de la ISO 14001:2015, sino también proporcionar un modelo que facilite a las organizaciones la transición hacia prácticas más sostenibles y responsables.
ABSTRACT
Growing concern about the environmental impact of human activities has led organizations to adopt more sustainable and responsible practices. In this context, the ISO 14001:2015 standard is presented as a fundamental framework for the implementation of effective environmental management systems. Through the research, an environmental management system was designed based on the ISO 14001:2015 standard for the company Diagnostic Center for Women in the city of Valledupar, whose objective is to analyze and develop an environmental management system based on said standard. exploring its principles, benefits and the importance of its application in the business environment. Through a practical approach, the tools and methodologies necessary to integrate environmental management into the organizational culture were examined, thus contributing to sustainability and regulatory compliance. This study not only sought to highlight the relevance of ISO 14001:2015, but also to provide a model that makes it easier for organizations to transition towards more sustainable and responsible practices.
