| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal, interpretar las experiencias de discriminación vivenciadas por inmigrantes venezolanos que habitan en la ciudad de Valledupar Cesar. Tomando como marco referencial la recopilación de Migración e Historia Sección 1.3. OMC (Sf.) recuperado en (Ramírez, 2017), cuya metodología se hizo bajo el enfoque cualitativo, utilizando como técnica de recolección la entrevista y grupo focal. En los resultados de esta investigación se identificaron experiencias de discriminación relacionada con la categoría laboral, psicológica, de origen y salud, que han afectado la calidad de vida de los habitantes venezolanos en la ciudad de Valledupar, muchos de ellos afirmaron que no les han brindado oportunidad laboral debido a su nacionalidad, los estigmas sociales frente a su procedencia han acarreado en los informantes consecuencias psicológicas como la tristeza e impotencia ante las situaciones de discriminación, lo cual, además de generar un impacto a nivel emocional también, genera una desestabilidad económica, algunos participantes expresaron haber tenido que dormir en muchas ocasiones en la calle, estas experiencias afectan la dignidad y la percepción que poseen sobre sí mismos y su bienestar. Abstract The main objective of this present was to interpret the experiences of discrimination experienced by the investigation by Venezuelan immigrants who live in the city of Valledupar Cesar. Taking as a frame of reference the compilation of Migration and History Section 1.3. OMC (Sf.) Recovered in (Ramírez, 2017), whose methodology was made under the qualitative approach, the interview and focus group were used as a collection technique. In the results of this research, experiences of discrimination related to the employment, psychological, origin and health categories were identified, which have affected the quality of life of the Venezuelan inhabitants in the city of Valledupar, many affirmed that they have not provided them with a job opportunity Due to their nationality, the social stigmas in front of their origin have brought psychological consequences in the informants such as sadness and impotence in situations of discrimination, which, in addition to generating an impact on an emotional level, also generates economic instability, some participants They expressed having to sleep on many occasions in the street, in cardboard boxes, knowing that in their country they had a home and a bed to sleep in.
