dc.description.abstractEl presente proyecto de grado tuvo como principal finalidad crear una propuesta para la creación de una empresa productora y comercializadora de tilapia e insumos piscícolas en el municipio de Gamarra - Cesar, analizando el estilo de vida y la forma de subsistir de las familias que durante los últimos años no ha sido la mejor pese a la inestabilidad y limitaciones que han surgido en la actividad pesquera debido al uso desmedido de la misma. En tal sentido, se puede decir que el desarrollo del primer objetivo se logra con la aplicación de una encuesta diseñada bajo el modelo del cuestionario dirigido a los diferentes mayoristas, en este caso, 37 Asociaciones a las que se le aplicaron 11 preguntas cuyos resultados indicaron la aceptación y viabilidad de poner en marcha una empresa productora y comercializadora de tilapia. Por otro lado, se desarrolló un estudio técnico el cual permitió determinar el tamaño, los procesos, instalaciones y necesidades requeridas. Además, se realizó un estudio administrativo que permitió establecer la estructura organizacional de la empresa. Y finalmente, el estudio financiero que arrojó resultados positivos en cuanto a la viabilidad del proyecto, aportando alternativas de sostenibilidad familiar, generación de empleo, incremento de los ingresos y mejorando la calidad de vida de las familias del municipio de Gamarra ABSTRACT The main purpose of this degree project was to design a proposal for the creation of a company that produces and markets tilapia and fish supplies in the municipality of Gamarra, Cesar department, analyzing the lifestyle and the way of subsistence of the families that during the last few years have not been the best, despite the instability and limitations that have arisen in the fishing activity due to its excessive use. In this sense, it can be said that the development of the first objective is achieved with the application of a survey designed under the model of the questionnaire addressed to the different wholesalers, in this case, 37 Associations to which 11 questions were applied whose results indicated the acceptance and viability of starting a tilapia production and marketing company. On the other hand, a technical study was developed which made it possible to determine the size, processes, facilities and required needs. In addition, an administrative study was carried out that allowed to establish the organizational structure of the company. And finally, the financial study that yielded positive results regarding the viability of the project, providing alternatives for family sustainability, job creation, increased income and improving the quality of life of families in the municipality of Gamarra Palabras claves: Tilapia, Producción, Comercialización, Estanque, Piscicultura.
