dc.description.abstractEl documento expone el diseño y desarrollo de una aplicación web trilingüe (kankuama-español-inglés) creada para preservar la lengua originaria del pueblo indígena Kankuamo y articularla con el aprendizaje del idioma inglés. Ante la progresiva pérdida de este idioma ancestral y la evidente brecha tecnológica en los procesos educativos de estos territorios, el proyecto propone una solución interactiva basada en la metodología ágil Extreme Programming (XP) y un enfoque cualitativo-participativo. Mediante un proceso de co-creación colaborativo con sabedores, docentes y estudiantes de la comunidad, el sistema se construyó integrando herramientas modernas como React y Node.js, e incluye módulos estructurados para la gestión de vocabulario, audios, traducciones y evaluaciones interactivas (quices) Abstract The document presents the design and development of a trilingual web application (Kankuama-Spanish-English) created to preserve the native language of the Kankuamo indigenous people and articulate it with English language learning. Given the progressive loss of this ancestral language and the evident technological gap in the educational processes of these territories, the project proposes an interactive solution based on the agile Extreme Programming (XP) methodology and a qualitative-participatory approach. Through a collaborative co-creation process with community knowledge keepers, teachers, and students, the system was built integrating modern tools such as React and Node.js, and includes structured modules for managing vocabulary, audios, translations, and interactive evaluations (quizzes).
