Abstract
Teniendo en cuenta que un hospital verde y saludable es un establecimiento que promueve la salud pública, reduciendo continuamente su impacto ambiental y eliminándolo, el hospital Rosario Pumarejo de López, que es una empresa social del estado comprometida con el entorno ambiental, busca mejorar la salud ambiental y comienza con la implementación de tres objetivos pertenecientes a la agenda global para hospitales verdes y saludables, los cuales fueron: Energía, Agua y Residuos.
Las actividades realizadas a lo largo de este proyecto en el hospital Rosario Pumarejo de López, incluyeron en la primera fase, la socialización al personal del hospital acerca del proyecto hospitales verdes y saludables, y los objetivos implementados; en el cual se tocaron temas base para la puesta en marcha de dicho proyecto. Por otra parte, teniendo en cuenta que el personal de servicios generales juega un papel importante en la realización de éste, (más específicamente en el objetivo de residuos y agua) y dentro de este marco de socialización y conocimiento de la red global para hospitales verdes y saludables se dispuso a realizarles una capacitación; en la cual se realizó una encuesta, dando como resultado que en esta área se tiene un excelente conocimiento acerca de la disposición de residuos sólidos.
El hospital sigue trabajando para que cada objetivo plasmado en la agenda global para hospitales verdes y saludables se lleve a cabo dentro de sus instalaciones.
ABSTRACT
Taking into account that a green and healthy hospital is an establishment that promotes public health, continuously reducing its environmental impact and eliminating it, the Rosario Pumarejo de López hospital, which is a social enterprise of the state committed to the environmental environment, seeks to improve health environmental and begins with the implementation of three objectives belonging to the global agenda for green and healthy hospitals, which were: Energy, Water and Waste.
The activities carried out throughout this project at the Rosario Pumarejo de López hospital, included in the first phase, the socialization to the hospital staff about the green and healthy hospitals project, and the objectives implemented; in which basic themes were touched for the implementation of said project. On the other hand, taking into account that general service personnel play an important role in the realization of this, (more specifically in the objective of waste and water) and within this framework of socialization and knowledge of the global network for green hospitals and healthy, he set out to train them; in which a survey was conducted, resulting in an excellent knowledge of solid waste disposal in this area.
The hospital continues to work so that each objective embodied in the global agenda for green and healthy hospitals is carried out within its facilities.
