Abstract
Los Límites de Cambios Aceptables son una metodología elaborada por el Servicio Forestal de los Estados Unidos que contempla la forma de aprovechar y dar uso a los ecosistemas de manera sostenible. Mayapo es un corregimiento turístico de gran emblema y reconocimiento reciente y actualmente se ha recuperado por la pandemia COVID-19, sin embargo, la cultura y el ambiente son los principales componentes afectados por las malas prácticas del turismo alternativo, de masas o tradicional. Con este estudio se llevó a cabo la aplicación de metodologías de Capacidades de Cargas obteniendo 289 visitantes por semana al sitio. Se identificó que la mejor oportunidad fue la rústica natural. Se definieron estrategias preventivas y correctivas que ayuden a superar las condiciones actuales de la prestación del servicio turístico logrando concretar quince puntos de treinta y tres posibles preliminares.
ABSTRACT
The Limits of Acceptable Change is a methodology developed by the United States Forest Service that contemplates how to take advantage of and use ecosystems in a sustainable manner. Mayapo is a tourist corregimiento of great emblem and recent recognition and has currently recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic, however, culture and the environment are the main components affected by the bad practices of alternative, mass or traditional tourism. With this study, the application of Load Capacity methodologies was carried out, obtaining 289 visitors per week to the site. It was identified that the best opportunity was the natural rustic. Preventive and corrective strategies were defined to help overcome the current conditions of the provision of tourist services, achieving fifteen points out of thirty-three possible preliminaries.
