dc.description.abstractEl proyecto “Implementación De Un Sistema Hidropónico Vertical Como Estrategia Para La Educación Ambiental Y El Desarrollo Sostenible En La Institución Educativa Casimiro Raúl Maestre, En La Ciudad De Valledupar, Cesar.” Se diseño para implementar estrategias educativas orientadas a nuevas temáticas ambientales relacionadas con la hidroponía. En un contexto global marcado por la intensificación del cambio climático y la creciente presión sobre los recursos naturales, la educación ambiental se convierte en una necesidad esencial, este proyecto no se limita a ser una intervención educativa convencional sino representa una propuesta integradora que busca capacitar a los estudiantes en prácticas sustentables a través de estrategias innovadoras sobre cultivos sostenibles mediante nuevas tecnologías. Para su desarrollo se llevó a cabo una encuesta diagnostica que involucró a los estudiantes de los grados novenos, los resultados revelaron un cambio significativo en su aprendizaje, resaltando la efectividad de las estrategias utilizadas durante el proceso. La metodología aplicada en esta investigación incorpora un enfoque teóricopractico con pedagogía ambiental, ofreciendo a los estudiantes una experiencia educativa significativa que trasciende el aula, al involucrarlos en la construcción y gestión de un sistema hidropónico, además con el desarrollo de una guía ilustrada se promovió el alcance de conocimientos técnicos, donde se fomenta una conciencia crítica sobre la conservación del agua, la mitigación del cambio climático, y la gestión responsable de los recursos naturales, fomentando una mayor conciencia sobre las problemáticas actuales mediante la difusión de información entre estudiantes, docentes y la comunidad en general. La realización de este proyecto demuestra cómo la educación ambiental cuando se vincula estrechamente con prácticas sostenibles puede convertirse en un poderoso agente de cambio. A lo largo de este proyecto, se exponen las estrategias aplicadas, los resultados obtenidos, las conclusiones y recomendaciones con el fin de contribuir de manera significativa al desarrollo sostenible desde la base misma de la formación académica. ABSTRACT The project “Implementation of a Vertical Hydroponic System as a Strategy for Environmental Education and Sustainable Development at the Casimiro Raúl Maestre Educational Institution in the City of Valledupar, Cesar.” was designed to implement educational strategies aimed at new environmental issues related to hydroponics. In a global context marked by the intensification of climate change and the growing pressure on natural resources, environmental education becomes an essential need. This project is not limited to being a conventional educational intervention but represents an integrative proposal that seeks to train students in sustainable practices through innovative strategies on sustainable crops using new technologies. For its development, a diagnostic survey was carried out involving ninth grade students. The results revealed a significant change in their learning, highlighting the effectiveness of the strategies used during the process. The methodology applied in this research incorporates a theoretical-practical approach with environmental pedagogy, offering students a significant educational experience that transcends the classroom, by involving them in the construction and management of a hydroponic system. In addition, with the development of an illustrated guide, the attainment of technical knowledge was promoted, where a critical awareness about water conservation, climate change mitigation, and responsible management of natural resources is fostered, promoting greater awareness of current problems through the dissemination of information among students, teachers and the community in general. The realization of this project demonstrates how environmental education when closely linked to sustainable practices can become a powerful agent of change. Throughout this project, the applied strategies, the results obtained, the conclusions and recommendations are presented in order to contribute significantly to sustainable development from the very foundation of academic training.
