Abstract
Los semilleros de investigación buscan introducir a los estudiantes en el análisis científico y la generación de conocimiento mediante una estructura metodológica. Este estudio se centra en el desarrollo de habilidades investigativas en estudiantes de cuarto y quinto grado a través del semillero de investigación ambiental de la Institución Educativa Santa Bárbara, Sede Los Pinos, durante un año escolar. Además, analiza cómo este semillero fortalece las habilidades de los estudiantes, promoviendo la formación de ciudadanos críticos y comprometidos con el medio ambiente.
Se investigan las metodologías y enfoques del semillero, especialmente el Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos (ABP), y sus resultados en el desarrollo de habilidades investigativas. Con base en los hallazgos, se propone integrar el semillero en el plan de estudios para motivar a los estudiantes a profundizar en el aprendizaje y el espíritu investigativo. También se examina cómo el semillero influye en la participación y el trabajo en equipo, fomentando un entorno colaborativo y comprometido con el aprendizaje significativo.
El estudio utiliza un enfoque cualitativo, empleando encuestas y revisión documental de los resultados obtenidos en las actividades del semillero. Los hallazgos indican que el semillero ha sido fundamental en el desarrollo de habilidades investigativas, involucrando a los estudiantes en prácticas de investigación real y fomentando una profunda conciencia ambiental. Sin embargo, se identificaron áreas de mejora, como la inclusión de estrategias pedagógicas para aumentar la motivación y la participación de otros estudiantes y maestros en los semilleros de investigación.
Concluyendo, este estudio ofrece una visión integral transformando el enfoque tradicional de enseñanza, promoviendo un aprendizaje más dinámico e interactivo que prepara a los estudiantes para enfrentar los desafíos del mundo moderno.

Abstract
The investigation groups seek to introduce the students to scientific analysis and to generate knowledge through a methodology structure. This study focuses on developing the investigative skills of fourth and fifth-grade students by Ambiental investigation groups of the Santa Barbara, Los Pinos, education institute for a school year. Besides, analyze how this investigation group strengthens the student's skills, stimulating critical citizens and committing to the environment.
The methodology and the seek groups focus on investigation, especially the learning based on the projects (ABP), resulting in the development of investigative skills. Based on the research, integrating the investigation groups in the study guides is proposed to motivate the students to deepen the learning investigation spirit. Also, how the investigation group influences participation in the team job is examined, fostering a collaborative environment and commitment to the meaning of learning.
The study used a qualitative focus, applying surveys and document reviews of the results of the investigation activities. The results show that the investigation groups have been significant in the investigation skills development, involving the student's actual investigation practices and fostering a deep Ambiental conscience. However, areas for improvement were found, such as a pedagogical inclusion strategy to increase motivation and the participation of other students and teachers in the investigation groups.
