Inteligencia emocional y resiliencia en madres comunitarias de la Asociación Mixta Las Manuelitas en la ciudad de Valledupar

Abstract
El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar los niveles de inteligencia emocional y resiliencia en las madres comunitarias de la Asociación Mixta las Manuelitas en la ciudad de Valledupar, con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, con corte transversal y un diseño no experimental. La población de interés fueron 38 madres que están inscritas legalmente al Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar entre las edades de 45 a 79 años. Se utilizo el cuestionario Trait Meta Mood Scale (TMMS-24) de Salovey y Mayer para medir la inteligencia emocional y la escala de resiliencia de Wagnild y Young para la resiliencia. Los resultados de la investigación indican en cuanto a inteligencia emocional que se debe fortalecer las tres dimensiones debido a que existe una minoría que presenta dificultad, por prestar demasiada atención emocional un 32%, o prestar poca atención un 12%, así mismo un 2,63% no tiene claridad emocional, también un 7,89% de las madres presentan una baja reparación emocional, en relación a resiliencia las madres comunitarias tuvieron niveles adecuados y altos. En síntesis, teniendo en cuenta los resultados obtenidos en inteligencia emocional, esto puede interpretarse como presencia de sintomatología asociadas a la depresión o ansiedad y así mismos inconvenientes para regular estados emocionales de manera oportuna; en tanto a resiliencia se puede destacar que las madres logran hacerles frente a las situaciones adversas que evidencian en su vida, las pueden superar y al mismo tiempo desarrollar una actitud resiliente.
Abstract
The objective of the study was to evaluate the levels of emotional intelligence and resilience in the community mothers of the Las Manuelitas Mixed Association in the city of Valledupar, with a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach and a non-experimental design. The population of interest was 38 mothers who are legally registered in the Colombian Family Welfare Institute between the ages of 45 and 79 years. The Salovey and Mayer Trait Meta Mood Scale (TMMS-24) questionnaire is used to measure emotional intelligence and the Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale for resilience. The results of the research attention, indicate in terms of emotional intelligence that the three dimensions should be strengthened because there is a minimum that presents difficulty, for paying too much emotional attention 32%, or paying little 12%, likewise 2 63% do not have emotional clarity, also 7.89% of mothers have low emotional repair, in relation to resilience, community mothers had adequate and high levels. In summary, taking into account the results obtained in emotional intelligence, this can be interpreted as the presence of symptoms associated with depression or anxiety and also inconveniences for regular emotional states in a timely manner; in terms of resilience, it can be highlighted that mothers manage to face the adverse situations that they experience in their lives, they can overcome them and at the same time develop a resilient attitude.
