| dc.description.abstract | Implementar nuevas estrategias de ecoturismo es una iniciativa crucial para mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes del municipio, proteger el medio ambiente y contribuir al desarrollo sostenible de la región. La estrategia se enfocó en la socialización del proyecto a través de medios de comunicación y acercamientos a Instituciones Educativas, Grupos Ambientales y Gestores Comunitarios, además la ejecución de Talleres Ambientales Enfocados al Manejo Adecuado y Mejoramiento de la Calidad del Recurso Hídrico. Se espera que estas estrategias de ecoturismo generen conciencia ambiental para una mejora en sostenibilidad y conservación del medio ambiente y que además contribuya a mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes del municipio de Manaure. Para alcanzar estos objetivos, fueron llevadas a cabo distintas actividades como la Ejecución de Talleres Ambientales Enfocados al Manejo Adecuado y Mejoramiento de la Calidad del Recurso Hídrico, así como también al fomento del manejo adecuado de los recursos naturales en el marco de la conservación de la biodiversidad y los servicios Ecosistémicos promoviendo buenas prácticas en el manejo de los residuos sólidos. Además de ello, establecer señales que comuniquen, enseñen, orienten y transmitan las buenas prácticas ambientales en el municipio de Manaure. En conclusión, la implementación de estrategias de Gestión Ambiental a través de las buenas prácticas en sostenibilidad para el desarrollo eco turístico en el municipio de Manaure, fue una iniciativa crucial para mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes del municipio, proteger el medio ambiente y minimizar el deterioro en las condiciones socioeconómicas y ambientales en muchos casos frágiles e inestables, el cual ha ocasionado pérdidas de los valores naturales, además de un aumento en el volumen de los residuos sólidos que se generan. ABSTRACT Implementing new ecotourism strategies is a crucial initiative to improve the quality of life of the municipality’s residents, protect the environment, and contribute to the sustainable development of the region. The strategy focused on promoting the project through media channels and outreach to educational institutions, environmental groups, and community leaders. It also included the execution of Environmental Workshops focused on the proper management and improvement of water resource quality. These ecotourism strategies are expected to raise environmental awareness, enhance sustainability and environmental conservation, and contribute to improving the quality of life for the residents of the municipality of Manaure. To achieve these objectives, various activities were carried out, such as the implementation of Environmental Workshops focused on the proper management and improvement of water resources, as well as the promotion of responsible natural resource management within the framework of biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services. These efforts also promoted good practices in solid waste management. Additionally, signage was established to communicate, educate, guide, and promote environmental best practices throughout the municipality of Manaure. In conclusion, the implementation of Environmental Management strategies through sustainable best practices for ecotourism development in the municipality of Manaure was a crucial initiative to improve residents’ quality of life, protect the environment, and minimize the deterioration of often fragile and unstable socioeconomic and environmental conditions. This deterioration has led to the loss of natural values and an increase in the volume of solid waste generated.
