| dc.description.abstract | En la presente investigación se refleja la problemática de la ausencia de alternancia simétrica en la comunicación y los axiomas dentro del equipo quirúrgico, a tal efecto, el estudio desarrollo el objetivo general analizar el tipo de comunicación entre el equipo quirúrgico teniendo presente los axiomas de Paul Watzlawick para buscar la seguridad del paciente. Clínica Valledupar S.A. 2020, a través de los objetivos específicos describir el nivel de contenido y la relación que existe en la comunicación del equipo quirúrgico, seguido de identificar los diferentes tipos de comunicación que se efectúan entre el equipo quirúrgico, y finalmente, examinar si existen alternancia en los intercambios comunicacionales simétricos y complementarios que se presentan en el equipo quirúrgico. La metodología estuvo conformada por un estudio de enfoque cualitativo, de naturaleza fenomenológica, de tipo descriptivo, con una población de 20 sujetos pertenecientes al equipo quirúrgico integrados por cirujano, anestesiólogo, instrumentador (a), y enfermeras circulantes, en donde se aplicó el método subjetivo de entrevista semi – estructurada aplicada por medio de un formato de Google, es decir, ejecutado de forma virtual por los sujetos, por motivos de seguridad ante la situación de pandemia. Se logra concluir que en los sujetos se da una relación de respeto en el intercambio de saludos, ideas y sugerencias, predominando el tipo de comunicación verbal, y asumiendo en su mayoría una postura efectiva de alternancia simétrica, sin embargo, se detecta un porcentaje de la población que refleja una comunicación verbal, pero de alternancia complementaria, que no promueve la igualdad de participación del equipo quirúrgico e incrementa el riesgo de adversidades y errores en la sala de cirugía y otros escenarios que afecten la seguridad de los pacientes. Abstract The present research reflects the problem of the absence of symmetric alternation in communication and axioms within the surgical team, for this purpose, the study developed the general objective to analyze the type of communication between the surgical team keeping in mind Paul's axioms Watzlawick to seek patient safety. Valledupar S.A. Clinic 2020, through the specific objectives to describe the level of content and the relationship that exists in the communication of the surgical team, followed by identifying the different types of communication that take place between the surgical team, and finally, examining whether there is alternation in the surgical team. Symmetrical and complementary communication exchanges that are presented in the surgical team. The methodology consisted of a study with a qualitative approach, of a phenomenological nature, of a descriptive nature, with a population of 20 subjects belonging to the surgical team made up of a surgeon, anesthesiologist, instrumenter, and circulating nurses, where the method was applied Subjective semi - structured interview applied through a Google format, that is, carried out virtually by the subjects, for security reasons in the face of a pandemic situation. It is possible to conclude that in the subjects there is a relationship of respect in the exchange of greetings, ideas and suggestions, the type of verbal communication predominates, and most of them assuming an effective posture of symmetric alternation, however, a percentage of the population that reflects verbal communication, but of complementary alternation, that does not promote equal participation of the surgical team, and increases the risk of adversity and errors in the operating room and other scenarios that affect the health of patients.
