| dc.description.abstract | La explotación de material de arrastre es una actividad que genera diferentes impactos ambientales negativos al medio ambiente y la comunidad en general, por lo cual resultade gran importante su valoración y con ellos el planteamiento de estrategias que permitan mitigar, corregir, compensar y prevenir dichos impactos. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo diseñar el plan de manejo ambiental para los impactos generados por la explotación de material de arrastre del rio Cesar en el corregimiento Guacochito de Valledupar, Cesar. La metodología de estudio fue descriptivo y explicativo, se elaboraron tres actividades que fueron identificación de impactos, valoración de los mismos y estrategias de manejo. En cuanto a los resultados, se identificaron 22 impactos ambientales, de los cuales la mayoría resultaron siendo severos, dos críticos y tres insignificantes. Las estrategias fueron protección lecho del río Cesar, educación ambiental, manejo y disposición de residuos sólidos, control de emisiones, compensación, cada uno de estos programas estuvo conformado por el objetivo, impactos ambiental a controlar, meta, tipo de medida, acciones, recursos, responsables e indicadores que permitan hacer un seguimiento y control a las medidas. ABSTRACT The exploitation of drag material is an activity that generates different negative environmental impacts to the environment and the community in general, which is why its valuation is very important and with them the approach of strategies that allow to mitigate, correct, compensate and prevent said impacts. . The objective of this study was to design the environmental management plan for the impacts generated by the exploitation of carryover material from the Cesar river in the Guacochito de Valledupar, Cesar district. The study methodology was descriptive and explanatory, three activities were developed that were identification of impacts, their assessment and management strategies. Regarding the results, 22 environmental impacts were identified, of which the majority were severe, two critical and three insignificant. The strategies were protection of the Cesar river bed, Environmental education, Solid Waste management and disposal, emission control, compensation, each of these programs was made up of the objective, environmental impacts to be controlled, goal, type of measure, actions, resources. , managers and indicators that allow monitoring and control of the measures.
