dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio tiene como objetivo realizar la optimización del proceso de producción de bolsas plásticas mediante la aplicación de balances de materias y energía eléctrica, tomando como punto de partida el principio general de la conservación y las ecuaciones de balance. El desarrollo de la temática comienza con el abordaje sobre los plásticos industriales, sus propiedades, clasificación, los procedimientos y métodos empleados para su procesamiento así como los distintos tipos de materiales y maquinarias necesarias para lograr su transformación. Seguidamente, se plantean la formulación de las ecuaciones de balance fundamentadas en la conservación de la materia y la energía, teniendo como base las entradas, salidas y el consumo de materia y energía que se presentan dentro de un proceso de transformación. Por último, se aplican las ecuaciones de balance y energía formuladas al proceso de producción de bolsas plásticas de la empresa Forlán Ltda., logrando identificar los procesos que generan mayor cantidad de pérdidas dentro de la planta de producción, posibilitando realizar acciones preventivas y correctivas acordes al origen de las fallas detectadas. ABSTRACT The objective of this study is to optimize the production process of plastic bags through the application of balance sheets of materials and electrical energy, taking as a starting point the general principle of conservation and balance equations. The development of the subject begins with the approach on the industrial plastics, their properties, classification, the procedures and methods used for their processing as well as the different types of materials and machinery necessary to achieve their transformation. Next, the formulation of balance equations based on the conservation of matter and energy is proposed, based on inputs, outputs and the consumption of matter and energy that occur within a transformation process. Finally, the equations of balance and energy formulated to the process of production of plastic bags of the company Forlán Ltda. Are applied, being able to identify the processes that generate greater amount of losses inside the production plant, making possible to carry out preventive and corrective actions accordingly. to the origin of the detected faults.
