Nivel de motivación y uso de estrategias para el proceso de aprendizaje del área de matemáticas en los estudiantes del grado décimo del CASD

| dc.description.abstract | La matemática demanda de capacidades a nivel integral del ser humano para que su adquisición sea apropiada, con base a lo mencionado, en esta investigación se planteó como objetivo general “Describir el nivel de motivación y uso de estrategias para el proceso de aprendizaje en el área de las matemáticas en los estudiantes del grado décimo del CASD”. Para el desarrollo de dicho objetivo se utilizó el enfoque metodológico cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental, corte transversal de tipo descriptivo. La población objeto fueron 120 estudiantes de decimo grados del CASD, los instrumentos utilizados fueron, ficha sociodemográfica, cuestionario sobre motivación (hacia las matemáticas), escala de estrategia de aprendizaje ACRA. Los principales resultados y conclusiones son que, solo el 21% estudiantil se encuentran en nivel alto de motivación tanto intrínseca, como extrínseca. Y toda la población puntuó en niveles bajos en las estrategias para el proceso de aprendizaje. Abstract Mathematics requires comprehensive human capacities to ensure its proper acquisition. In light of the above, this study set the general objective of describing the level of motivation and the use of strategies for the learning process in mathematics among tenth-grade students at CASD. To achieve this objective, a quantitative methodological approach was employed, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive design. The target population consisted of 120 tenth-grade students at CASD. The instruments used were a sociodemographic form, a motivation questionnaire (toward mathematics), and the ACRA Learning Strategies Scale. The main results and conclusions indicate that only 21% of students are at a high level of both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and the entire population scored at low levels on strategies for the learning process.
