dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación: Comportamiento del infractor vial del municipio de Valledupar, Cesar 2020-I, surgió al momento de observar que en la ciudad de Valledupar acudían a urgencias personas con múltiples fracturas debido a accidentes viales, algunas inclusive llegaban sin vida. Así mismo, durante la práctica desarrollada en la asignatura de medico quirúrgica de seguridad vial del programa de enfermería y el papel de educadores desempeñado en dicha práctica en la secretaria de tránsito avivo la necesidad de realizar este estudio; con el propósito de describir el comportamiento del mismo. Con el presente proyecto de investigación se pretende contribuir al conocimiento sobre el comportamiento del infractor vial en la ciudad de Valledupar. A su vez, esta investigación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo, de tipo descriptivo – fenomenológico. Describiéndose socio-demográficamente los infractores viales, se identificaron actitudes generadoras de infracciones, y la influencia de estas últimas en el comportamiento vial del infractor, teniendo como referente la teoría de la promoción de la salud de Nola Pender. Los datos fueron obtenidos por medio del muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia; a través del método inductivo, observación directa y entrevista semiestructurada, aplicada a 10 infractores viales. Se halló que la mayoría de los infractores eran hombres en edad productiva, así mismo con un trabajo fijo, con un nivel socioeconómico bajo y académico, a su vez que por un motorizado había un conductor infractor, que la mayoría desconoce las señales de tránsito, en incurren en el no respeto a las mismas de manera repetitiva, en cuanto a los elementos de seguridad y protección prima el uso del casco y el cinturón de seguridad, así mismo la mayoría refiere no haber puesto en riesgo su vida, ni haber tenido una lesión por su conducta. Por otra parte, la mayoría tienen un concepto negativo sobre el no respeto a la vía peatonal, conducir bajo efectos del alcohol y del incumplimiento de las normas de tránsito, donde prima el argumento; “si se respetan las normas se previenen accidentes y siniestros viales, además, multas y comparendos”. Abstract The present investigation: Behavior of the road offender of the municipality of Valledupar, Cesar 2020-I, arose at the time of observing that in the city of Valledupar people with multiple fractures went to the emergency room due to road accidents, some even arrived lifeless. Likewise, during the practice developed in the road safety medical surgical course of the nursing program and the role of educators played in said practice in the traffic secretary fueled the need to carry out this study; with the purpose of describing the behavior of the same. With this research project it is intended to contribute to the knowledge about the behavior of the road offender in the city of Valledupar. In turn, this research had a qualitative, descriptive-phenomenological approach. Describing sociodemographically the road offenders, attitudes generating infractions were identified, and the influence of the latter on the offender's road behavior, taking Nola Pender's theory of health promotion as a reference. The data were obtained through non-probability sampling for convenience; Through the inductive method, direct observation and semi-structured interview, applied to 10 road offenders. It was found that most of the offenders were men of productive age, likewise with a fixed job, with a low socioeconomic and academic level, in turn that there was an offending driver for a motor vehicle, most of whom are unaware of the traffic signs, they repeatedly incur in nonrespect for them, in terms of safety and protection elements, the use of a helmet and seat belt, likewise, most refer to not having put their life at risk, or having had a conduct injury. On the other hand, the majority have a negative concept about not respecting the pedestrian way, driving the effects of alcohol and non-compliance with traffic regulations, where the argument prevails; "If the rules are respected, accidents and road accidents are prevented, as well as fines and subpoenas".
