Abstract
RESUMEN
El objetivo general del presente estudio fue valorar los costos asociados a los lesionados por accidentes de tránsito en el departamento del Cesar 2015 – 2020, fundamentado en autores como Nonkululeko (2015), Banstola (2020), Arias (2012), así como instituciones como la OMS, el DANE, El INMLCF, entre otros. Con relación a la metodología el estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño no experimental, la población estuvo conformada por los lesionados producto de accidentes de tránsito en el departamento del Cesar en el periodo 2015–2020. La técnica de recolección de datos fue la revisión documental, realizando en registro de información en una serie de formatos diseñados en Excel. El análisis de resultados permitió identificar que en el departamento del Cesar la mayor parte de las incapacidades se ubicaron dentro del rango de entre 31 y 90 días con un total de $2.525.728.850 para el periodo analizado. En el caso de la economía positiva se hizo haciendo uso del ingreso medio estipulado por el DANE, logrando identificar que el departamento dejó de percibir la suma de $15.220.778.207 para el periodo estudiado, llegando a concluir que las acciones tomadas con relación a la accidentalidad vial han sido insuficientes, y que se debe crear una política capaz de cerrar la brecha existente entre la economía positiva y la normativa, la cual incide en la economía del departamento.
ABSTRACT The general objective of this study was to assess the costs associated with road traffic injuries in the department of Cesar 2015 - 2020, based on authors such as Nonkululeko (2015), Banstola (2020), Arias (2012), as well as institutions such as WHO, DANE, INMLCF, among others. Regarding the methodology, the study had a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design, the population consisted of those injured as a result of traffic accidents in the department of Cesar in the period 2015-2020. The data collection technique was documentary review, recording information in a series of formats designed in Excel. The analysis of results allowed identifying that in the department of Cesar most of the incapacities were located within the range of between 31 and 90 days with a total of $2,525,728,850 for the period analyzed. In the case of the positive economy, the average income stipulated by the DANE was used, identifying that the department lost $15,220,778,207 for the period studied, concluding that the actions taken in relation to road accidents have been insufficient, and that a policy capable of closing the existing gap between the positive economy and the normative one, which affects the department's economy, must be created.
