Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como tema la relación de las variables rasgos de personalidad y actitud frente al aborto, por lo tanto, se planteó como objetivo general “Establecer la relación entre los rasgos de personalidad y la actitud frente al aborto en estudiantes de los tres últimos semestres de psicología de la UPC, Valledupar – 2021”. La metodología implementada fue cuantitativa, de tipo transversal, alcance correlacional con una muestra de 200 estudiantes. Los principales resultados obtenidos fueron 76,5% de los estudiantes se encuentran en el rango de edad de 20 – 24 años, el 89% de la población pertenecen al género femenino, el 61% pertenecen al estrato 1, el 65% su religión es la católica y el 57,5% son del décimo semestre de psicología. los rasgos de la personalidad con mayores prevalencias y que a su vez puntuaron en niveles bajos fueron, Afabilidad, Estabilidad, Dominancia, Animación, Atención a las Normas, Atrevimiento, Abstracción, Privacidad, Apertura, Autosuficiencia y Perfeccionismo, donde estas describen a personas caracterizadas por estar solas, aisladas, retraídas, y con escasos deseos por interactuar, insatisfacción, pensamientos de auto menosprecio, además, la posibilidad que estén padeciendo malestares psicológicos, serios, sobrios, desinteresados, insatisfechos, con padecimiento de ánimo bajo, autodesprecio, pesimismo. Con respecto a la actitud frente al aborto, la dimensión provida se ubicó en el nivel negativo, el cual indican actitudes negativas hacia el aborto, considerándolo inhumano e injustificado, como conclusión, se estableció una relación baja en todas sus dimensiones.
Abstract
The present research work had as its theme the relationship between the variables personality traits and attitude towards abortion, therefore, the general objective was "To establish the relationship between personality traits and attitude towards abortion in students of the last three semesters of psychology at UPC, Valledupar – 2021”. The implemented methodology was quantitative, cross sectional, correlational scope with a sample of 200 students. The main results obtained were 76.5% of the students are in the age range of 20 - 24 years, 89% of the population belong to the female gender, 61% belong to stratum 1, 65% their religion is Catholic and 57.5% are from the tenth semester of psychology. the personality traits with the highest prevalence and which in turn scored at low levels were Agreeableness, Stability, Dominance, Animation, Attention to Rules, Boldness, Abstraction, Privacy, Openness, Self-sufficiency and Perfectionism, where these describe people characterized by for being alone, isolated, withdrawn, and with few desires to interact, dissatisfaction, self-deprecating thoughts, in addition, the possibility that they are suffering from psychological discomfort, serious, sober, disinterested, dissatisfied, suffering from low spirits, self hatred, pessimism. Regarding the attitude towards abortion, the pro-life dimension was located at the negative level, which indicates negative attitudes towards abortion, considering it inhuman and unjustified, as a conclusion, a low relationship was established in all its dimensions.
