Abstract
El presente proyecto se enfocó en fortalecer la Gestión del Riesgo en las Comunidades con Vulnerabilidad Alta y Moderada del Municipio de Agustín Codazzi, Cesar mediante el desarrollo de talleres y capacitaciones en las zonas urbanas y rurales que fueron identificadas previamente por la coordinación municipal de gestión de riesgo del municipio. El objetivo principal fue empoderar a las comunidades para que adquirieran habilidades y conocimientos necesarios para enfrentar situaciones de riesgo de manera efectiva y colaborativa.
El proyecto se estructuró en torno a tres componentes principales: identificación y evaluación de riesgos, formación y capacitación, y redes comunitarias de apoyo. Se realizó primeramente un análisis detallado de los riesgos presentes en las zonas del municipio, involucrando a los habitantes para fomentar la conciencia y comprensión de los peligros a los que están expuestos.
Se llevaron a cabo talleres y sesiones de capacitación diseñados específicamente para las necesidades de cada comunidad en las área rurales y urbanas, abordando temas como prevención, preparación y respuesta ante desastres naturales y situaciones de emergencia. Se enfatizó en la participación activa de todos los miembros de la comunidad (líderes, autoridades, etc.).
ABSTRACT
This project focused on strengthening Risk Management in communities with high and moderate vulnerability in the municipality of Agustín Codazzi, Cesar, through the development of workshops and training sessions in both urban and rural areas previously identified by the municipal risk management coordination office. The main objective was to empower communities by providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively and collaboratively respond to risk situations.
The project was structured around three key components: risk identification and assessment, training and education, and community support networks. A detailed risk analysis was conducted in the identified areas, actively involving residents to raise awareness and promote understanding of the hazards they face.
Workshops and training sessions were tailored to the specific needs of each community, covering topics such as prevention, preparedness, and response to natural disasters and emergency situations. The project emphasized active participation from all community members, including local leaders and authorities.
