dc.description.abstractEn la Institución Educativa Técnico la Esperanza, los estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de escoger al llegar a la educación media una modalidad SENA, en la cual se encuentra una a favor del medio ambiente, que permite a los estudiantes adquirir conocimientos, habilidades y destrezas para cuidar y proteger el ambiente. Partiendo desde la modalidad este proyecto pretende que los estudiantes aprendan a cuidar y proteger las especies vegetales que se encuentran en la Institución Educativa y en los hogares del educando, también que reconozcan la importancia de los árboles y los beneficios que estos traen para la vida. El presente estudio se fundamenta desde una metodología de naturaleza mixta (cualitativa y cuantitativa), de tipo descriptiva y un diseño no experimental, utilizando el método de encuesta para la recolección de información, la cual se realizó a los estudiantes de 10 grado jornada de la mañana pertenecientes a la modalidad ambiental de la I.E Técnico la Esperanza. De la información analizada se logra obtener que los estudiantes desean conocer y aplicar todo lo referente al cuidado y protección de los árboles, también que la Institución Educativa Técnico la Esperanza debe motivar al educando a cuidar y proteger los árboles, puesto que es una de las pocas Instituciones que cuentan con gran número de especies vegetales del municipio de Valledupar. Se puede concluir que cuando se influye de manera positiva en el desarrollo de actividades relacionadas con la importancia de los árboles, los estudiantes al integrarse a estas pueden conocer, valorar y ayudar con el fortalecimiento de la educación ambiental, y al mismo tiempo ser más conscientes de la importancia que tienen los árboles en el ecosistema al que pertenecen. viii SUMMARY At La Esperanza Technical Educational Institution, students have the opportunity to choose a SENA election upon reaching middle school, in which there is a favor from the environment, which allows students to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities to care for and protect the environment Starting from the modality, this project intends that students learn to care for and protect the plant species found in the Educational Institution and in the homes of the student, they also recognize the importance of trees and the benefits they bring to life. The present study is based on a methodology of mixed nature (qualitative and quantitative), of a descriptive type and a non-experimental design, using the survey method for the collection of information which was carried out to the students of the 10th grade day of the tomorrow they belong to the environmental modality of EI Technical la Esperanza. From the analyzed information it is possible to obtain that the students want to know and apply everything related to the care and protection of the trees, also that the Technical Educational Institution la Esperanza must motivate the students to take care and protect the trees since it is one of the few institutions that have a large number of plant species in the municipality of Valledupar. It can be concluded that when positively influencing the development of activities related to the importance of trees, students by integrating into these activities can know, value and help with the strengthening of environmental education, since they have knowledge of the importance of trees in the ecosystem to which they belong.
