    MEMORIAS I ENCUENTRO DE SABERES CIENCIA Y AMBIENTE NEXUS

    The NEXUS Proceedings: First Meeting of Knowledge, Science and Environment document the academic and scientific contributions presented during an event held at the Universidad Popular del Cesar, in Valledupar, Colombia, on June 10, 2026. The publication compiles formative research experiences developed by undergraduate students in the courses of Inorganic Chemistry and General Biology, integrating scientific inquiry, literature review, analysis of results, and academic dissemination. The proceedings include research papers, scientific posters, oral presentations, and documentary evidence of the event. A total of 99 students from four academic programs participated, presenting 12 research projects through scientific posters and oral presentations. The initiative aimed to strengthen research skills, critical thinking, scientific communication, collaborative work, and the social appropriation of knowledge. This publication preserves the academic output generated through formative research and contributes to the visibility of student research and the consolidation of a scientific culture within the university community.
