    IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UN SISTEMA DE GESTIÓN AMBIENTAL BAJO LA NORMA ISO 14001 DE 2015 EN LA EMPRESA KGP CONSULTORÍAS & LOGÍSTICA S.A.S. COMO ESTRATEGIA PARA LA MEJORA DE SU IMAGEN CORPORATIVA

    Este documento contiene las actividades a desarrolladas durante el proceso de implementación del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental - SGA, conforme a los estándares de la ISO 14001:2015, en la empresa KGP Consultorías & S.A.S. Este sistema fue adoptado por la organización como estrategia para alinearse con las normativas legales y estándares en evaluación y gestión de impactos ambientales, lo que contribuyó a mejorar la imagen empresarial, ambiental y social de la organización. El proceso se llevó a cabo en cuatro etapas. La primera etapa consistió en un diagnóstico inicial, en el que se evaluó el nivel de cumplimiento de la organización respecto a los requisitos de la ISO 14001:2015 antes de implementar el sistema. La segunda etapa abarcó la formulación documental, en la que se diseñaron los documentos necesarios para cumplir con la norma y planificar los controles operacionales según las actividades, impactos y contexto de la organización. En la tercera etapa, se implementaron los controles operacionales del SGA, se realizaron capacitaciones y se llevaron a cabo actividades de divulgación. Finalmente, se efectuó la verificación del cumplimiento del SGA tras su implementación por medio de un ejercicio de auditoría interna, con el objetivo de evaluar el grado final de conformidad de la organización frente a los requisitos de la ISO 14001:2015. ABSTRACT This document outlines the activities carried out during the implementation process of the Environmental Management System (EMS), in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 standards, at the company KGP Consultorías & S.A.S. This system was adopted by the organization as a strategy to align with legal regulations and standards for environmental impact assessment and management, contributing to the improvement of the company’s corporate, environmental, and social image. The process was conducted in four stages. The first stage consisted of an initial diagnosis, in which the organization’s level of compliance with ISO 14001:2015 requirements was assessed prior to system implementation. The second stage involved the development of documentation, where the necessary documents were designed to meet the standard and plan operational controls based on the organization’s activities, impacts, and context. In the third stage, the EMS operational controls were implemented, training sessions were conducted, and awareness activities were carried out. Finally, compliance with the EMS was verified after implementation through an internal audit exercise, aimed at evaluating the organization’s final level of conformity with ISO 14001:2015 requirements.
