    Análisis de los Patrones de Comercio Internacional de la Región Caribe Continental Colombiana frente a Estados Unidos y China para el periodo 2010 – 2018

    RESUMEN La investigación tiene por objetivo caracterizar el estado del saldo de las relaciones comerciales de la Región Caribe Continental Colombiana frente a sus dos principales socios en el marco del comercio internacional, Estados Unidos y China, y de esta forma establecer patrones que permitan no solo identificar las ventajas y desventajas comparativas a nivel comercial sino también, los sectores productivos en los cuales se debe procurar estimular la producción para el periodo 2010 – 2018. A través de diversas investigaciones se ha establecido que, es necesario conocer cómo se encuentra configurado el patrón exportador/importador, en específico, que productos tienen mayor participación. Con base en lo anterior, se establece que la investigación se guiara bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, en un esquema no experimental usando datos de corte transversal, en donde a través del uso de datos macroeconómicos provenientes del Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadísticas (DANE) y Fundesarrollo, se analizan indicadores que permiten básicos como balanza comercial y el coeficiente de apertura y otros más estructurados como el índice de Balassa Ventajas Comparativas Reveladas y Concentración y Diversificación, lo cual permitirá establecer índices que lleven al establecimiento de áreas de oportunidad en el sesgo productivo y comercial. ABSTRACT The objective of the research is to characterize the status of the balance of trade relations of the Colombian Continental Caribbean Region with its two main partners in the framework of international trade, the United States and China, and thus establish patterns that allow not only to identify the comparative advantages and disadvantages at the commercial level, but also the productive sectors in which production should be stimulated for the period 2010-2018. Through various investigations, it has been established that it is necessary to know how the exporter/importer pattern is configured, specifically, which products have the greatest participation. Based on the above, it is established that the research will be guided under a quantitative approach, in a non-experimental scheme using cross-sectional data, where through the use of macroeconomic data from the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) and Fundesarrollo, indicators are analyzed that allow basic ones such as the trade balance and the openness coefficient and other more structured ones such as the Balassa index, Revealed Comparative Advantages and Concentration and Diversification, which will allow establishing indices that lead to the establishment of areas of opportunity in the productive and commercial bias.
