    Diseño de un sistema de gestión ambiental basado en la NTC ISO 14001 de 2015 en la empresa ms construcciones s.a.s ubicada en la ciudad de valledupar

    La presente propuesta tiene como objetivo diseñar un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental en la empresa MS CONSTRUCCIONES S.A.S, ubicada en la ciudad de Valledupar, con base en los lineamientos de la NTC ISO 14001:2015. La iniciativa surge de la necesidad de la empresa por adoptar la normativa ambiental vigente, mejorar su desempeño en este ámbito y fomentar una cultura organizacional centrada en la sostenibilidad. MS CONSTRUCCIONES S.A.S. se dedica al diseño, construcción y comercialización de proyectos de vivienda, por lo que resulta esencial mitigar los impactos generados por sus actividades. La investigación se enmarca en la línea de sostenibilidad y gestión ambiental, con enfoque cualitativo y alcance descriptivo; la población objeto de estudio corresponde a todo el personal administrativo y operativo de la empresa, seleccionada mediante un muestreo no probabilístico por juicio. El diseño metodológico no experimental permitió analizar los procesos existentes sin manipulación de variables, apoyándose en herramientas como entrevistas, observaciones y análisis documental. A su vez, la metodología aplicada sigue el ciclo PHVA (planear, hacer, verificar y actuar), permitiendo estructurar el sistema desde la identificación de aspectos e impactos hasta la formulación de planes de mejora. Finalmente, se concluye que la implementación del SGA, tal como lo plantea el estándar de la NTC ISO 14001:2015, ofrece a la organización una herramienta eficaz para reducir la contaminación ambiental, mejorar el desempeño ambiental y la calidad de vida de las comunidades aledañas. Abstract: The objective of this proposal is to design an Environmental Management System for MS CONSTRUCCIONES S.A.S., located in Valledupar, based on the guidelines of NTC ISO 14001:2015. The initiative arose from the company's need to adopt current environmental regulations, improve its performance in this area, and foster an organizational culture focused on sustainability. MS CONSTRUCCIONES S.A.S. is dedicated to the design, construction, and marketing of housing projects, making mitigating the impacts generated by its activities essential. The research is framed within the framework of sustainability and environmental management, with a qualitative approach and descriptive scope. The study population is comprised of all administrative and operational personnel of the company, selected through non-probability sampling. The non-experimental methodological design allowed for the analysis of existing processes without manipulation of variables, relying on tools such as interviews, observations, and documentary analysis. In turn, the applied methodology follows the PDCA (plan, do, check, act) cycle, allowing the system to be structured from the identification of aspects and impacts to the formulation of improvement plans. Finally, it is concluded that the implementation of the EMS, as outlined in the NTC ISO 14001:2015 standard, offers the organization an effective tool for reducing environmental pollution, improving environmental performance, and improving the quality of life of surrounding communities.
