    Cáncer y lesiones cervicales ligado a la ausencia de vacunación contra el VPH en mujeres menores de 30 años en una institución pública – Valledupar, 2020-II

    El cáncer constituye un notable problema de salud pública en el mundo debido a sus altos índices de morbimortalidad y su naturaleza multicausal, por su parte el cáncer de cérvix reporta cada año 530.000 nuevos casos y 275.000 defunciones, siendo Latinoamérica y el Caribe las regiones con mayor tasa de incidencia, cifras que coinciden con las mayores tasas de VPH en esos territorios. (Marañón et al, 2017) La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo identificar la presencia de lesiones cervicales y cáncer cervicouterino relacionado a la ausencia de vacunación contra el VPH, en mujeres menores de 30 años con el propósito de brindar una óptica de dicha problemática, conocer las causales de la no aplicación del biológico y ofrecer una educación integral a la población objeto. Este proyecto pudo llevarse a cabo, gracias a la aplicación de un cuestionario en el cual se indago sobre las características sociodemográficas, la salud sexual reproductiva y la educación sexual recibida durante la vida de las féminas. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron una carencia de vacunación, educación, tratamientos y controles de salud, los mismos que constituyen factores de riesgo para la presencia de lesiones cervicales. Con esta investigación se llegó entre otras a la conclusión de que la promoción de la salud y la educación sexual debe ser reforzada entre la población con vida sexual activa con el fin prevenir este tipo de enfermedades. Abstract Cancer is a notable public health problem in the world due to its high morbidity rates and multicausal nature, cervical cancer report approximately 530,000 new cases each year and more than 275,000 deaths, Latin America and the Caribbean are the regions with the highest incidence rate, figures that match the highest HPV rates in these territories. (Marañón et al, 2017) This research aimed to identify the presence of cervical lesions and cervical cancer related to the absence of HPV vaccination, in women under 30 years of age with de purpose to provide an optics of this problem and to know the reasons why our target population does not administered the vaccine, know the causes of the non-application of the biological and offer a comprehensive education to the target population. This project was able to be carried out, thanks to the application of a questionnaire in which we researched the sociodemographic characteristics, sexual and reproductive health and sex education received during the life of the female women. The result indicated a lack of vaccination, education, treatments and health, which are risk factors for the presence of cervical injuries This research concluded that health promotion and sexual education must be strengthened among the active sex-life population in order to prevent this type of disease.
